Now this is an amazing recipe! I found it online and fell in love with it. I decided this would be my birthday cake. I just love baking so much I wanted to make my cake! The day before my birthday I spent making all the food for my meal, including the cake. First I made the batter, it is a really moist cake. So if you notice that your batter is really liquidity it is OK. In the recipe it says to cut out parchment circles that fit the pans. A hack I learned for that is to put the bottom of the pans on parchment paper and trace the pan and then cut it out. Then I baked it in the oven for about 30-35 minutes. Later while the cakes cooled, I worked on the filling. When I was done making it I spread it generously on top on one of the cake layers. Next I put the other layer on top. I had a little left over so I saved it then I went and made the frosting. Here's the thing with the frosting it has 8 cups of powdered sugar so if you don't want to use that much or if you don't have enough I used 3-4 cups and then I added my extra filling. After all of that, I frosted the cake until I couldn't see the cake. I had some extra frosting so I saved it in my fridge. Then I chopped 10 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups into quarters. I sprinkled the quarters onto the cake. Finally I made the garnish and drizzled it on top. It is a great recipe and it turned out fantastic. I fully recommend it. Another thing you could do with this recipe is make cupcakes. I did that by following the exact same directions for the cake but instead of cake pans put cupcake liners in a cupcake pan. Then pour the batter into the cupcake liners. Fill up the liners to about 3/4 of the way. Follow the same directions till it comes to the filling. You should then put the filling in a bag. Next stick a hole in the cupcakes you want to. Fill with filling. For the frosting do what I said earlier (Here's the thing with the frosting. It has 8 cups of powdered sugar so if you don't want to use that much or if you don't have enough I used 3-4 cups and then I added my extra filling.). Once you are done with that put frosting on top. I did not put the garnish on top so I did rainbow sprinkles instead. I hope you enjoyed these tips to the recipe, enjoy! Credits + Recipe: Thanks to my mom for helping.
